How to Install the Fanvue App on Android

Here's how to get the unofficial Fanvue app APK onto any Android phone. It takes roughly a minute and there's no need to root anything.

What you'll need

  • An Android phone or tablet on Android 7.0 or newer.
  • Around 20 MB of free space.
  • A Fanvue account — or you can sign up once the app is installed.

Install in 5 steps

  1. Grab the Fanvue app APK

Head to the download page and tap Download APK. If Chrome warns that the file could be harmful, choose Download anyway — Chrome shows that on every APK that doesn't arrive through Google Play.

  2. Let your browser install apps

Android only installs from sources you've approved. The first time round, a prompt appears when you open the APK: tap Settings, flip on Allow from this source, then tap back. On Android 7, switch on Unknown sources under Settings → Security instead.

  3. Open the file you downloaded

Tap the completed download in your notification bar, or open the Files app and go to Downloads. Look for Fanvue.apk.

  4. Install the app

Tap Install and give it a few seconds. If Play Protect offers to scan the app, go ahead and let it, then tap Install again.

  5. Open it and sign in

Tap Open, or find the new icon on your home screen. Log in with your email and password, or with X (Twitter). It'll keep you signed in for next time.

Common problems and fixes

"App not installed" or "The package conflicts with an existing package"

Either the download is incomplete, or a different site's copy of a "Fanvue" app is already on the phone. Remove any other "Fanvue" app under Settings → Apps, re-download the APK from this site, and install it again.

"There was a problem parsing the package"

The download didn't complete. Delete the file, check your connection and try again. Also confirm your phone is on Android 7.0 or newer.

Tapping the file does nothing

Open the APK from the Files app rather than the browser, and make sure that app is allowed to install.

Google sign-in throws an error

Google blocks its login page inside wrapped apps. Use your email and password, or X (Twitter), instead.

The app opens to a blank screen

Check that you're online, then close and reopen it. If your network blocks Fanvue, it won't load inside the app either.

Updating the Fanvue app

Each time a new build is released, the app shows an update notice. Tap it to fetch the new APK and install it over the current one — you stay logged in. The latest version is always on the download page too.

Uninstalling the Fanvue app

Press and hold the icon, tap Uninstall (or drag it there) and confirm. That signs you out of Fanvue on that phone, but your actual Fanvue account and subscriptions stay untouched.

On an iPhone?

APKs are an Android-only format. On iPhone, open fanvue.com in Safari, tap Share and pick Add to Home Screen for a comparable shortcut.
